Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited content and activities
You may not use our services to host, transmit, or link to:
- Illegal content or content that promotes illegal activity.
- Malware, viruses, phishing pages, or other malicious code.
- Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual-property rights.
- Child sexual abuse material or any content that exploits minors.
- Content that is defamatory, harassing, or that incites violence.
- Fraudulent schemes, pirated software, or stolen data.
Email and messaging
- No sending of unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operating mailing lists without proper consent.
- No forged headers, open mail relays, or other deceptive messaging practices.
- You must comply with applicable anti-spam laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act.
Server resources and fair use
- Shared hosting is intended for normal website use. You may not consume excessive server resources in a way that degrades performance for other customers.
- No cryptocurrency mining, denial-of-service tools, port scanning, or running processes that place an unreasonable load on shared servers.
Security
- You are responsible for keeping your applications, plugins, and scripts updated and secure.
- No attempts to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or account, whether ours or a third party’s.
- We may suspend an account that has been compromised or is being used to attack others, in order to protect our network.
Enforcement
When we become aware of a violation, we may issue a warning, remove offending content, or suspend or terminate the account, depending on the severity. Serious violations — such as malware, phishing, or illegal content — may result in immediate suspension without prior notice.
Reporting abuse
To report a violation of this policy, email abuse@faithharborwebhosting.com. We investigate all reports.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the updated policy on this page.
